That’s a jaw-dropping dress! The songstress sizzled in a seriously short mini that put her legs on full display as she performed at the first lady’s big 50th birthday bash at the White House on Jan 19.

The star, (who was on-hand to perform for the special occasion), stole the show in her gorgeous cocktail dress. Her ensemble was like a sexy, modern take on a flapper dress. Not only did the sleeveless mini fit her fantastic figure like a glove, but the intricate, embellished fringe adorned the entire ensemble and is especially visible at the thigh-grazing hemline, where the fringes finish off the dress giving off a scalloped hemline. Her legs looked even longer thanks to the nude, patent-leather pumps she rocked with the frock. We the fact that she selected a nude shoe on this occasion — not only did it compliment the dress without taking away from the gorgeous detailing, but it made her toned legs look even longer! Kohl-rimmed eyes, voluminous waves, a pretty, pink lip and an armful of gold bangles finished off the get-up, as her smoldering stare made it clear that Bey totally owned this look!

Although The White House attempted to keep the party under wraps, The Chicago Tribune reports that Queen Bey treated guests to a show-stopping rendition of both “Single Ladies” and “Irreplaceable.”

Beyonce seems to be in the best shape of her life, and she has the confidence to rock any barely there mini she pleases! We can’t get enough of this look on the star, but what do you think? Do you love her embellished dress as much as we do?

We don’t get to see this all the time but obviously this is good news for the team behind the flick and Africans. Since the inception of the biopic of Mandela, there has been nothing but raves, of course  good raves about the movie and just yesterday President Obama had the distinguished honor to privately screen the  movie which chronicles the life of living legend and freedom fighter , Nelson Mandela. The movie stars Idris Elba as Nelson Mandela and Naomie Harris as Winnie Mandela.  Will it win an Oscar?Well, maybe! after all how many movies get screened by the President of the United States himself.

Anyway, read exactly what the Eyewitness  News reported about President Obama’s experience of the movie.

US President Barack Obama hosted a special screening of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom at the White House last night in the company of producer Anant Singh, Mandela’s daughters, Zindzi and Zenani, lead actors Idris Elba and Naomie Harris and director Justin Chadwick.

Also in attendance were South African ambassador to the United States Ebrahim Rasool, former US ambassador to South Africa Donald Gips and his wife Gill, Time Magazine Editor Richard Stengel and US distributor of the film Harvey Weinstein and his fashion designer wife, Georgina Chapman.

Commenting from Washington, Anant Singh said, “It is an exceptional honour to have presented Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom at the White House.

“It was a proud moment for us having Zindzi and Zenani Mandela with us, especially because we were together at the White House when Madiba was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honour.

Speaking at the screening, Obama said Madiba had influenced him and many people around the world. He was proud to host the screening at the White House and to have Mandela family members and the filmmakers present.

Before the screening, the filmmakers were taken on a private tour of the White House.
