The 25-year-old has been named in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for her services to the music industry, which last year saw her bag an Oscar for her James Bond theme song Skyfall.
Her new title will be Miss Adele Adkins MBE, which stands for member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
The mum-of-one will make an appearance at Buckingham Palace on Thursday where she will accept her accolade.
Singer-songwriter PJ Harvey, broadcaster Aled Jones and author Joanne Harris were also on the list for MBEs, while broadcaster Claire Balding was honoured with an OBE.
Meanwhile the Grammy winner is rumoured to be planning the release of her third studio album sometime next year but has been busy being a mum after welcoming Angelo, her first child with partner Simon Konecki, into the world last October.
