Former member of the R&B girl group Destiny’s Child, Farrah Franklin was reportedly arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning and charged with disorderly conduct, according to TMZ.
Franklin and Michelle Williams joined Destiny’s Child in 1999, replacing LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson.
Franklin, who was hired by Beyoncé’s dad and the group’s then manager, Matthew Knowles, remained with the group for a mere five months. She claimed to have learned about her firing via an MTV news report.
Franklin, now an actress, was allegedly booked into the Horry County Detention Center in Conway, South Carolina. According to TMZ, Franklin was cited for disorderly conduct but no further information was provided to them regarding the arrest.
Franklin was released Sunday afternoon after her bond was posted.
