Ghanaian-born model Felivian Adombila Ayariga is a proof that true beauty transcends the European standards.
With classic African features-high cheek bones and likeable looks that remind you of Naomi and Alec, the 5-foot-8 African beauty from the Upper East Region, Bolgatanga caused quite a stir on the modelling circuit in Ghana when she burst onto the scene a few years ago.
This enterprising young African Aphrodite who was signed on to Exopa Modelling Agency (one of the leading modelling agencies in Ghana) is now a darling on Ghana’s runway and she continues to reinvent herself.
Many expected her popularity to be short-lived since the Ghanaian modelling industry was almost non-existent and not as lucrative as the West. So much for predictions.
Because with her ebony skin, cropped hair, Naomi‘s grace and legs that go on forever, Felivian, 24, continues to rule the runway in Ghana. “She simply is the easiest model to work with,” says Emmanuel Bobbie, one of Ghana’s finest professional photographers.
Her speciality, however, goes beyond the runway. She has been involved in several lifestyle campaigns and appeared in many music videos.
Recently, Felivian graced the catwalk at the launch of the BE BOLD TV SHOW, a fashion and lifestyle show on E-TV Ghana. She has also worked with some of Ghana’s finest designers.
These days, when Felivian is not working it on the runway, she is mentoring children between the ages of three and 13 and young Ghanaians with the passion for modelling.
Don’t we all love Felivian? We wish her the very best in all her endeavours.
So, if you love her, watch this space for an interview coming soon.
Also check out Felivian’s portfolio and profile on model mayhem. Wow, she is one fierce lady!!
She passes as one of Africa’s risque- taking celebrities when it comes to fashion.
While filming a movie in Accra, Ghana, the Ghollywood sensation was captured rocking a sporty chic look.
She wore a black varsity shirt, jean shorts accessorized by a gold choker and gold bracelet. But it was her black knee high bondage style gladiator heels that stole the spottlight.
A sleek bun and red lipstick completed the look. Love her or hate her?
