We are so happy for the Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o.This year she has not only wormed her way to the top but earned our respect.Boy, we didn’t see that coming. She got a standing ovation from Hollywood last night as she walked her way to the stage for her best supporting actress award at the Critics Choice Awards for her role in 12 years a slave. I bet you didn’t see that coming either.Actress Cate Blanchett won  for Best Actress.
