PHOTOS: GOSPEL SINGER SONNIE BADU TIES THE KNOT WITH SWEET HEART ANN-MARIE DAVIS
One of Gospel’s Eligible Bachelors and heavyweight , Sonnie Badu tied the knot with his sweet heart Ann- Marie Davis last week in a lavish but simple ceremony in London. The ceremony turned out to be biggest social gathering of the year attracting a tall list of Africa’s biggest men.
On the guest list was the brother of Ghana’s president, Ibrahim Mahama and his actress wife Sellasie Ibrahim ( manager of Sonnie Badu) ,mining magnate Sam Jonah, Dele Momudu of Ovation International , actors John Dumelo and Fred Nuamah. We are reliably told the pair ( Fred and John) flew in specifically to support their “broda” Sonnie. Geez guys, is the matching suits necessary?
Check out the pictures. We have only one word ” Divine”
WHOA, NICKI MINAJ RELEASES RACIEST ART COVER YET
Nicki Minaj is known for some racy pictures but this art work cover for her new single ” Anaconda” cover has to be the raciest.
Squatting low in a cotton candy pink bra and G-string with a pair of royal blue Jordans, the Head-Barb-In-Charge flaunts a different side of her than usual
The “Pills ‘N Potions ” singer would be releasing her single “tease” on iTunes Monday (July 28). Now we are certain fans and fellas alike just became extremely psyched for whatever it is Nicki will deliver. We’re almost positive this won’t be as innocent as that Pills ‘N Potions stuff, either.
Her forthcoming album Pink Print is also due later this year.
BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMAN SEVERELY BEATEN IN FRONT OF NIGHT CLUB PRONOUNCED DEAD
So sad. Kim Pham, a beautiful 23-year-old university grad and inspirational blogger, was taken off life support and pronounced dead on Jan. 21 after being severely beaten outside of a nightclub three days prior.
However, the Los Angeles Times confirms that one young woman has been arrested in connection with the attack on Kim Pham, while the police continue to seek up to four more attackers. Shockingly, the fight reportedly began over an accidental photobomb — Kim unintentionally walked by a group that was posing for a photo, and lost her life because of it.
Before her tragic death on Jan. 21, Kim was an aspiring writer and talk show host who wrote a beautiful, inspirational blog on Elite Daily about avoiding fear and living life fully, no matter what.
“If you are forthright in your own heart’s honest intent to love, you have nothing to worry about,” Kim wrote. “Be bold, go forward, and love like hell.”
What a beautiful voice that was silenced far too soon.
OH NO!!! MAGAZINE CELEBRATES MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY WITH A PHOTO OF A RUSSIAN WOMAN PERCHED ON BLACK WOMAN
The image of a white woman comfortably perched on a “black woman bondage chair” is certainly no way to celebrate Martin Luther King. Maritn Luther King who had a dream that all were equal .
However y esterday, according to Fashion bomb daily a new online magazine Buro 247 published an article on Russian socialite Dasha Zhukova. The article started off as a seemingly innocent article about her life, fashion and career. The article was paired with an image of the Editor-in-Chief of Garage Magazine comfortably perched on an extremely life-like black mannequin, who is naked slave for a pair of leather-look black panties, a dominatrix-style belt, elbow-length gloves and knee-high boots.
The dummy was lying on her back with her knees bent and a cushion with Zhukova sitting on.
Claire over at Fashion Bomb Daily was one of the first to spot the shot, which she described as:
This however caused a lot of people to react to the said magazine’s editors
Fortunately, the photos were quickly taken down from Dasha Zhukova’s social media sites, and the chair was later cropped out of the images on Buro 247. Good ! this goes to prove that when the internet speaks , the masses listen
WHITNEY HOUSTON’S FAMILY DIVIDED OVER BOBBI KRISTINA’S MARRIAGE
WHITNEY Houston‘s family are at war — after the tragic singer’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, married her adoptive brother Nick Gordon!
According to reports Bobbi will inherit $2 million when she turns 21 on March 4, and family members fear that Nick, who’d been unofficially adopted by Whitney, rushed her to the altar for the money.
Insiders say Bobbi Kristina has no prenup to protect her fortune.
“The entire family is devastated over this marriage,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.
“Ever since Whitney died, Krissi’s grandmother Cissy Houston, her Aunt Pat and Uncle Gary have been trying to get rid of Nick. They felt he was just hanging around to get his hands on Krissi’s money.
“But Nick worked on Krissi 24/7, saying that he loved her and would protect her.
“Now he’s married her – just in time for her 21st birthday.”
Whitney was found dead in her bathroom at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Feb. 11, 2012.
In her will, she stipulated that Krissi receive 10 percent of her $20 million estate on her 21st birthday, another 6 percent on her 25th birthday and the remainder on her 30th birthday.
“Krissi’s relationship with Nick was never romantic until after Whitney died,” said the source.
“The family feels that if Whitney had adopted Nick and left him an inheritance, he never would have pursued Krissi.
“Boozing and using drugs was just normal for her and Nick.
“Now the family fears it will be just a matter of time before they blow her inheritance on drugs and partying.
“And they know Krissi didn’t protect herself with a prenuptial agreement. But legally she’s old enough to make her own decisions, so there’s nothing they can do.
“When Cissy found out that Krissi had married Nick, she was in tears.
“She’s hurt and furious. There’s no way she gave Krissi her approval.
“But Cissy says that she’ll be there for Krissi when she’s ready to talk. Cissy just hopes it won’t be when Krissi calls to say she’s broke and doesn’t know where to turn.”
